Vintage 1940s La Courelle Ivory Satin Bridal Nightgown Lace Embroidery Sz 36 S/M
This is a rare circa 1947 luxurious bridal nightgown from La Courelle styled by France Undergarment. It is full length 55 inches so I had to photograph the lace hem separately. The satin material is bias cut with beautiful lace and stitching on the bodice. The only damage is some yellowing from oxidation due to age and a small stain near the front hem (see photos). Its fragile lace is in good repair. The label reads 36 which is a Small to Medium today. We can date the gown to late 1940s based on its label design.
